Morena Morena is a restaurant with international cuisine focuses on seafood, which is on Avenida Rafael Obligado 4899, Capital Federal. Put another way, is on the waterfront, 200 meters before the end of the north end of the Aeroparque Jorge Newbery, in North Port and 20 meters after the Jet Lounge nightclub.
After a well deserved holiday and a strong return to work activity, a friend approached me again to remind myself that my duty was to visit Morena. Said and done we decided to heed the recommendation (or rather order friendly) and arrived on Friday the white gate North Port at about 21:30, without reservation and with a ravenous hunger. The entrance to the restaurant is the entrance to the marina, the car came closer to a porter with a huge smile, facilitated the entry and told us that Brown was at the end of the pier. We walked the entire length combs through the boats and when the end deliver the car to the valet parking. As soon as we get closer to the eaves of the entrance doors were opened wide by the hand of a cheerful receptionist, framed by the flashing lights and yellow ochres from the interior.
- "Good evening Do you have reservations?", Politely ask the receptionist dressed.

- "No problem, we have a table with an excellent view of the city to you, please join me." The receptionist turned inviting us to follow and headed for our table. Just started the long journey to our table we noticed that Brown is a restaurant "intimate", where one can hold a private dinner without chaos sound and light enough to reveal faint as food, fresh air circulation and excellent that feeling of "I found my place" that only very few restaurants can make us feel ... and all this with only four steps have been made 4. We noticed the large sushi bar sushi man in the middle of their respective craftsmanship. That bar, electric colors and bold, was screaming that we put aside the table promised and settled there, the bars rarely invited to be the first option and Morena bar ensures a seamless experience. After the bar, we were surprised to be in full kitchen, something that never happened because I was clear: we were on a pier! This kitchen was separated by a glass that let us see absolutely every detail of alchemy and as the hands of the cooks were moving at full speed, as the vapors rose and dissolved into the air. We continued down the stairs and on the top floor and we were ready to sit down.

with lengthy letters in hand, we do not take long to choose. We opted for two starters to share: Treats Prawn and scalloped oysters, accompanied by a martini in my hand and a sparkling water boring for my companion. It was strange to choose so fast, really tired of the week and the need for food can create amazing effects! The main course? Ask the same two Fettuccine Swell.
was only when they brought the drinks we could relax and enjoy the place. Morena is intended for dinner along with the city. The sight of Buenos Aires at night is excellent here as the small lights that extend from the ceiling upholstery fabrics allow for minimal reflection in the glass. These lights seem fine ramifications of iron falling from the ceiling, disappearing into the light, appearing as if suspended in air. Note that while there was competition in the area, confirmed my first impression of Morena: a place where I feel separated from the rest of the tables at the same time integrated into the restaurant. The foundation is the spectacular noise insulation produced by the fabric roof that can eliminate its glass counterpart. The table was well presented with the correct plate for the bread and with a detail to applaud: the candle on the table was surrounded by a translucent blown glass and touches of color, providing a flash and had not dazzled the same intensity as the illumination of the place. Beside the table was situated a lower height stool for drinks, which allowed the bottles away from the table but always at hand, avoiding gaps and creating a better atmosphere.
To all this the restaurant was full, there was no noise, no smells invading us from the dishes at other tables, was a perfect air circulation (including being on the higher floor) and the ambient temperature was regulated perfection.

We had ordered each dish have the two entrances to prevent excesses and was completed without any problem, showing in each dish of prawns and oysters. The prawns were a great size, were coated without showing hints of oil and grease and is crowned with a generous dollop of black caviar, resting on a sweet cream SPECTACULAR. This sauce could something completely revolutionary, confirming the old theory that "the sauce is everything." Obviously the prawns were delicious and well dried, but the sweet sauce ... we'll try again this sauce any day now. Oysters are not left behind because they could see the cheese without losing the taste of the oyster meat, melting the two elements and no predominance of cheese. This deserves an applause because the melted cheese was hard, therefore taste more salty and aggressive, the chef had made the communion of both. To all this the martini had been prepared correctly but did not agree with the entry, the mistake was mine and I admit, I should have asked for something softer.
Note that all three boys attended at any time we neglected us, were watching and said to each other every table orders to have proper control of their service. Rarely does a restaurant that the waiters talk and update each other on the tables they serve, this shows that the employee working in a good area employment generating better quality, better service and everything is checked in the customer's palate.
suddenly disappeared dishes of steaming food inputs and two appeared in front of everyone. Each plate showed a host of seafood everywhere shrouded at first glance fettuccine is al dente noticed. Vieyra, crab and shrimp calamaretis appeared around the plate as the conversation had been canceled. The cooking of shellfish was achieved in conjunction, even though each element requires different times and forms, showing a simple dish for the diner but cooking for chef prepared. The sauce? Morena sauces with the freshness of the seafood can shake to any restaurant in Puerto Montt, and I say this openly. The caviar was lost in the sauce but seafood plucked off of Buenos Aires and took me to some old holiday at sea. Just think of the name: "Fettuccine Surge", the name says it all. We had long ago stopped talking to stare at the plate over dinner. Eat and watch the food without interruption of a conversation secretly transmits a customer satisfaction ... Is that also why Brown is the perfect sound insulation?
Happy with our food and talking about it, it was decided that we had to try dessert, if inputs and the main course had been magnificent, also had to be dessert. Cheesecake for one side and Marquisse with mint sabayon for the other. Said and done, my marquisse with mint sabayon was like an After Eight giant, only cooler, bigger, more fun, with more mint and a lot more rich (yes, much more rich, it's hard to believe but reality). When my friend tried my dessert could not believe it, there was no proven their cheesecake and it wanted to change it for me Marquisse! The cheesecake was normal, but it overshadowed Marquisse so I had to share a plate with a strong emphasis. Just play your cake when it was over my dessert.
Morena is a restaurant different from what one knows and it was not easy to write this article, both the location and for its dishes. Presents a sushi bar and drinks along with a restaurant but extroverted form factor location. I found new flavors, along with a personalized and hidden from the customer, making the diner waiter and unconsciously forget the blind trust in their service. The flavors to be new guidance to succeed Brown as a restaurant to return, and that curiosity and thirst for the new, perfect and delicious are irresistible.
