Kitano Restó
Kitano is a sushi restaurant is on the Avenida del Libertador 15731, right in the middle of the block, entre las calles Roque Sáenz Peña y Rubén Darío, enfrente al CASI (Club Atlético San Isidro).
Al llegar a la entrada hay un small deck that promises to be very comfortable in summer. We were greeted by a gentleman behind the bar, wondering how we were and invited us to the bottom, where there was more room since we were 6 people.
is about a girl's hair and appearance scrambled medium "Hippone" with a thick menus, lights two candles and leaves us to choose. The menu is well armed, simple and easy, only the clear plastic cover obscures the role iota to the dark, forcing us to get that ocher acrylic to glimpse the proposals. Faced with so much indecision ended up asking for a special table and salmon and two tables. The drinks were only Cokes for everyone, there was no interest in alcohol.
That if I loved the place since I entered just could not help but remember the place like a restaurant classic winter resorts (Justito at the foot of the mountain), as the lack of design in the decoration of themselves, bears a resemblance to Kitano Restó inevitable. It should also add that the low ceiling and distribution of environments, giving rise to more than a dining room, typical of a recycled house. Mind you, this approach is proper and just one of the diners at my table shared my opinion. His view was that the decor, ambience and lighting resembles a Restaurant "seasonal" rather than an establishment open all year. Also the temperature is cool, something that fascinates me, with a constant air circulation and renewal. The tables are dark and light, as we stated before, shows no continuity over because the back of the restaurant appears a shade whiter (and clear), causing an unpleasant contrast with the rest of the place. There is almost no sound isolation, which does not matter to the few tables there. To all this I felt relaxed (though not look for what I wrote), the chairs are really comfortable, just high over the table.
I get the girl with trays 20 minutes and are dedicated to satisfy our craving. I found that it is true the comment I got from this place, the salmon is really very very rich, very tasty and fresh, seemed just dressing. The rice was perfect, no hints of vinegar and without being a paste. The size of the pieces were normal, nothing special and ginger is that you buy in the supermarket brand Kero. The companion was a Japanese cucumber delight, nay, almost ask if they could bring an extra piece and it was just sour and cut into a nearly transparent sheets. The maki were generous without going over rice, just enough for simple piece. To all this I could not help thinking what happily it was the salmon. I heard long ago in some sushi restaurants, the salmon will add a mixture of extra salt ¾ ¼ crushed and powdered sugar 10 minutes before preparing the role or maki, and if so I feel fantastic, continue doing so.
One of the guests is a hysterical with the sushi when it comes to the table because he always gets to count the pieces and oh surprise! It uncovered the missing 9 pieces in total. All of us also found bones in pieces, which is very annoying at the same time rewarding as the spine reveals whether the fish was washed with detergent or bleach and if it is fresh because it was perfectly bonded the meat of the animal. Do not be alarmed, the fish showed no smell or alterations. No dessert, we ordered the bill directly and get up to leave, we were surprised to see a cat enter the main gate, pass the bar side and into the kitchen, showing a prior knowledge of the place (ie the cat is wandering the place for some time and at any time and with the consent of the Knight of the box and the girls)
- "Put a cat came and sent directly to the kitchen!" said
- "Do not worry , is our "confided the girl who helped us.
I can not help thinking of the terrible combination of cat and fish. I also mob a little kitchen and it offers a very clean, especially when compared with sushiman bar.
The truth is that I felt comfortable in Rest Kitano, prices are affordable but half irrational with respect to temakis because they are disproportionately expensive compared with the sushi. It is a place of great prices and quality, have a very good sushi man. Definitely have to go back, I just hope that the next sushi does not have thorns, count the pieces requested, get rid of the cat (or did not show it please!) And to clean the countertop and kitchen tiles behind the cash desk.
Price? $ 324 from six people with LaNación Club.
